We specialise in wildlife management, including moles, rabbits, corvids, grey squirrels, fox and deer.
Dealing with an agricultural pest problem requires not only specialist knowledge and experience, but also a discreet and fast approach. As a family run business, we understand how it feels when pests such as rats, mice, birds, rabbits and insects threaten not just your profits, but more importantly your livelihood.
Pest Control 24-7 was formed to meet the demand for a specialist agricultural pest controller in southern England. We now deal with several farms, estates, golf courses and vast acres of land in the area.
We are passionate about our business and are always keen to discuss new techniques, methods and services we can offer the farming industry.
We are fully insured, qualified and BASC members.
A lot of agricultural work is carried out over the winter months. This is when rodents tend to leave the fields and hedgerows to seek cover and warmth in outbuildings, sheds and barns. Many of the farms we visit have a current pest issue, particularly with rodents.
Farmers realise the numbers are getting out of control and they are spending a lot of money on ineffective rodenticides.
This is where we come in, removing large quantities of rodents using several different control methods and utilising the specialist rodenticides at our disposal.
We also carry out large scale control against rabbits in the winter months. This technique has been a resounding success and delivers top results.
Areas of risk
Rats and mice can cause great damage to farm buildings and equipment. Apart from the danger of disease, rodents can pose a fire hazard due to their ability to chew through electrical wiring and cables
Flying insects can contaminate your stocks and pose a health threat to your livestock
Stored Product Insects (SPIs), such as beetles and weevils, can infest grain and commodities, resulting in losing revenue and reputation with your customers
QUALIFIED AND TRAINED TO A HIGH STANDARD
Once the problem is resolved we support the farm to help reduce the risk of reinfestation.
Farms by their very nature are often difficult to maintain and provide ideal breeding conditions for rodents. We supply our farming clients with a comprehensive service. This includes full briefing and debriefing, all the relevant paperwork, as well as ongoing management techniques to help ensure the problem remains under control.
